Cogentes Supports the Exchange Club of Washington County’s First Save a Child Golf Scramble

The Event Proceeds Help Fund Child Abuse Prevention Programs such as Time Out Teddy

ATLANTA, GA – March 11, 2008 – Cogentes, an enterprise consulting services firm, announced today their sponsorship of the First Annual Save a Child Golf Scramble hosted by the Exchange Club of Washington County. Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national project, Child Abuse Prevention.

The Exchange Club (Child Abuse Prevention Center) of Washington County s helping in a nationwide fight against child abuse by distributing Exchange’s Time Out Teddy bears to children who have been abused, neglected or traumatized. The golf event proceeds will help the Club supply patrol cars and rescue vehicles to assist officers and firefighters better communicate with children who are involved in a tragic situation. Time Out Teddy, the official teddy bear of the National Exchange Club, is a safe, warm, loving friend that serves as a calming tool for a child to hold in a time of crisis.
