At Cogentes, employee compensation extends well beyond salary to
include a comprehensive benefits package, professional development
and training, and much more. The total compensation package rewards
employees for their commitment to Cogentes and their valuable
contributions to our success.
Salary
Cogentes provides a competitive compensation program. In addition to base salary, we have a generous variable compensation component to reward employees for hard work and contribution to the company. Employees are evaluated annually at the beginning of each calendar year. Based upon individual performance and company performance, merit increases may be given. Other pay increases may occur when employees take advantage of advancement opportunities.
Virtual Organization
Cogentes was founded and continues to operate as a virtual organization. We feel that we can best serve our clients by attracting the best talent available, regardless of their geographic location. As such, for all consultant positions, we offer the ability to work from home when not on a client site. Cogentes furnishes mobile phone service, laptops, home office high-speed internet and VoIP phone service for all employees.
Consultant Travel
Since travel is typically a big part of the life of a consultant, we also do our part to help ensure that employees can maintain a high quality of life while on the road. For eligible consultants, we provide company credit cards to minimize the out of pocket expenses for individuals and also utilize central expense reimbursement procedures when necessary. For our traveling consultants, we provide access to many of the airline lounges such as American Airlines Admirals Club®, Continental Airlines Presidents Club®, Delta Crown Room Club®, and Northwest Airlines WorldClubs®. Whenever project schedules allow, we also take every measure possible to keep travel to week days and to respect employee's personal weekend time by not requiring administrative items such as timesheets, status reports and expense reports to be completed until close of business on the Monday following travel. Obtaining this type of project schedule is a high priority for our sales organization when negotiating engagement terms with prospects and customers.
Benefits Package
The Cogentes benefits package is one of the best in the industry. Because your needs may vary throughout your career, our benefits package allows you to customize your benefits to meet your changing needs. In order to keep the employee contributions as low as possible, Cogentes pays 100% of the premiums for employees for all benefits except disability. Paid Time Off
Cogentes firmly believes in providing our employees with a healthy work/life balance. With that in mind, we have created one of the most generous paid time off programs of any firm in our industry. Our plan is as follows:- Paid Days Off
- 3 Weeks First Year
- 4 Weeks after 1 Year (on anniversary)
- 1 Additional Week each on 5th,10th,15th and 20th Anniversaries
