Senior Account Executive
We are looking for an experienced and proven IT services sales executive in the New York City area. The ideal candidate will have 7 years+ experience in selling IT related services and will have a substantial list of clients with whom they've done repeat business and can call upon again. We are looking for those individuals that are self motivated and have an internal drive to exceed expectations. Candidate should be comfortable working as part of a virtual team. This position will be expected to carry or exceed a $3M annual quota.
Requirements:
· Track record of demonstrated IT services sales success
· Experience selling projects in one or more of the following areas: Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Business Services
· Solutions-selling experience; strategic and tactical
· Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and close a significant pipeline
· Ability to accurately forecast deal closure
· Strong relationship management skill set
· Experience and ability to effectively work with C-level executives in the mid to large market
· Solid understanding of IT sales cycle
· Familiar with common IT strategies, business practices and requirements
· Team oriented individual with a strong sense of responsibility toward team members and clients
· Ability to close at least $3M in annual sales
· Must be able to develop successful strategies to penetrate large targeted corporate accounts, both from an individual basis as well as participating in a sales pursuit team
· Must demonstrate consistent follow-through and ownership of sales pursuits and related administrative tasks
· Excellent communications skills
MBA or higher professional degree preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
